can anyone help?
i got home, and my PC is messed up.. my sister said it was ok, and then she went to wash dishes, and when she comes back the PC is off. When she tried to turn it on, it says "disk boot failure please insert sytem disc"
so i did put the disc in, it says "no hard drive detected PC recovery will now exit, press any key to continue" and whatever i press, it returns there...
The system loads for about 2 seconds before going back there.... and when i press the f1 (setup) it works, but there are nothin in setup that helps. for esc (boot menu) there are 2 option, 1 is my dvdrw, and the second is the cdr. what ever i press it goes back to the error message
After some time, i decide to reboot everything.... and... it doesnt work.. T_T

a friend of mine think that it's a fried Hard drive... i mean.. T_T
how do i know which hard drive tor emove and replace? i have 2.. one for backup and one for the usual thing.

Hmm, you should probably contact Antialize; he seems to know a hell of a lot of stuff about PCs…
If it is really a fried hard drive, it would probably be your main; I doubt that a backup hard drive would cause so much problems…

Sounds like your HD crashed... but it's hard to say unless I kinda know what was on the screen before everything started going south.
If you have a system recovery made, then I would suggest to fire that up if you can. If not, you may want to find your original disk with the factory defaults and reinstall it (of course, this will pretty much delete everything that you had before).
If you can pull that HD and try to plug it into another PC and try to recover your files, I suggest you do so... but yeah, changes are, your HD is toast.

Well seems it's the hard drive...
oh and the DVD drive and CD drive is not your Hard Disk... just to clarify things
also there's a chance that it may also be you RAM, cause with out it... you mother board can't find the HD or something like that....
Why do i know? cause I tried it... i had a broken ram and after that... a broken HD!! lolz

i mean in the bios window, they only have those, no HD... haha

It might be a hard drive problem. Hmmmmm...try opening your PC case and make sure everything is connected and whatnot. I experienced a similar problem when I first got my PC.

try unplugging/replugging some of the hardware in. My PC stopped working once and I thought it was the CPU but it just turned out the video card was dislodged
