ok, i know that kro's official site is ragnarok.co.kr , but why is that.... ican't get in no matter whar i do! please enlighten, i always get failed to connect, wherever i connect
Meh... That sometimes happen to me when I try to log in on a site from certain countries. The reason may be a lot of things actually; crappy server, protocols which prevents people from other countries from logging in, etc...
I wouldn't call it crappy since Korea is one of the most technologically sound countries there are. The simple reason is that your IP is being blocked. Some countries have protocols that actually do not allow IPs outside the country to access anything unless you are in the country itself using their IP. There are workarounds, but I've forgotten most of them. >.>

I was making broad generalizations... I also doubt Korea would have crappy servers, but some countries have...
Hrm, those protocols are evil i say! EVILLL

EVIL!! so that explains it.... they really blocked it... oh, well, thanks for confirmation!
I realize their main business model is the internet, but I think Korea is way too paranoid. In terms of circumvention, all it would require is a proxy onto an open network in Korea. That is of course unless they have a nation wide IP block range. It is hard for me to understand how it could determine incoming traffic from outgoing, in terms of people in Korea accessing information outside the country. That remains a mystery to me today...
Food for thought:
- The three most important things are: love, knowledge, and truth.
- To be remembered is to live forever.
- It's all about perspective, try to be grateful about life.
- Love happens by accident
Gaming:
