Database Fixes
fuseI would like to get our databases in order as best as possible with what we have existing. This means fixing broken images for missing items, missing skill icons, etc. As well, it would be nice if ALL skills had a screenshot available to show their in-game appearance. For those that are wondering why the database is only updated to 10.2, well there are a few reasons for this. First off, I now do my business on a Mac. I don't use a PC anymore, so a lot of those GRF extractors don't work, and I really outside of this reason I really have no reason to want to install Windows using bootcamp. Secondly, the other data source we've used since our inception is the official Aegis database information. The reason why we have not updated is because no further versions of aegis have been leaked. As well, we would like to treat eAthena is a very last resort. If we did switch over, most likely we would just recreate the database from scratch since there are many discrepancies. If anyone wants to help out (staff wise) -even db - let me know. IdyotAkoA lot of traffic that was here before was here for the skill sim. I think that should be one of the first db to be updated. KinjuI can go get the screenies, edited to fit. Just not at the moment. Maybe I could work on them tomorrow or so. fuseThat's fine Kinju. The only thing is they would need to be named after the skill_id: like ac_warp for acolyte warp. To determine these names pull up a job class from our db, search it. Then with the results hover your cursor over "Warp Portal" for instance to see: [javascript:]expand('SKILL_ID_HERE'); If they could be named: skill_id.[gif/jpg/png], just ensure they're in the correct format. You may also want to choose a size that's good for the skill info popup for the skill sim. The pictures would appear either in a new table cell I create for them, or under the description. Most likely a new cell would be a good idea. Then of course we're still missing the skill icons for some of the skills.
