OK so imma need a laptop for summer school and university...
im 90% sure it will be dell, since dell is... more affordable...

Ah yes, gotta love those students discounts... I had a sweet one when I bought my iMac...
The best suggestion I could give you is try to buy it at a student's co-operative (even if it's not from your own school), you may get yet another discount... which might allow you to make a slight upgrade with your own 1500$ limit...
