However what changed all that was:
- Game's development very slow, game very buggy, game very different than RO1
- Created Pukui.com only to have MY monster images ripped by Reddozen (diviniaro.com,ro2db.org), and for him to accuse me that I stole them from someone else and that he would not credit me.
- A PairofShoes of (ragnarok-tale.net) hording the wikipedia article on RO2, and preventing inclusion of any other RO2 fansites.
- DAT file decryption was hard and tedious, even for Antialize, who has a PhD in programming.

Basically every reason in the book was thrown at me to believe a fansite and the game itself is a complete waste of time.

From what I've read, the two projects: Janus and Saga, both are pretty much completed. Saga has released the legacy version of their emulator, open for anyone to download... that was quick!

I think once you're away from it long enough, it will leave your mind entirely. I know what you mean, games can be addictive. Sometimes you have to naturally deprive yourself of them though and spend your time doing something else, and eventually you figure out their real replay value has been depleted. Doesn't mean you won't crave them from time to time... gah... this sounds just like cigarettes!
