Str/Vit/ Max Int

Str:53+7
agi:9+2
Vit :63+7
Dex:37+3
Int:99+6
Luk :1+5

Very Well Balanced Gc Build.

Easy to Level, Effective in Pvp,PvM, and Woe

The main negative of this build is that Gc time will take 2 secs to cast. Which in a PvP,or Woe situation gives your opponent an oppertunity to move.

To fix the situation: Bash the target to stun them. Then Cast Gc.

PvM: In parties You either act as a tank, or You are the main source for dealing damage.
Undead/Weak to holy/Demon monsters are greatly hurt by Gc. These will be your primary sources for experience.

PvP: You are ment to take out low Vit Chars! ie: Hunter/Bard,Wizard/Sage,Rogue/Sin.
Now im am not saying you can't take out a High Vit char, but in most cases it will take 3 or more Gc's to kill them, and also the more vit a Char Class has the less likely they will Stun, and if they happened to be stunned it will not be for that very long giving them time to move away from gc.

Woe:Same thing as Above, Alot of the times you will be acting as a Precast Breaker.(You will be leading the charge when your on an assualt into a castle.) And when your defending you will be standing at the front of the line to Gc anyone that comes into to attempt to lay siege to your castle.

Equips:

Slotted Helm with Elder Willow card +4
Fin Helm
Iron Cain
Slotted Chain Mail+4 with Peco Peco Card/Marc& Pest cards (For Woe & Pvp)
2 Regular unslotted earrings
Slotted Muffler+4 with Raydric Card
Slotted Boots+4 With Sohee Card/Matyr/Eggyra (Pretty Much your choice here)
Slotted Mirror Shield+4 Thara Frog Card
Double Slotted Haedonggum With 2 Andre Cards/Zipper Bear Cards

Total Stat Bonus with equipment:

Str: 60
Agi: 11
Vit: 70
Int: 110
Dex: 40
Luk: 6

Skill Placement:

Heal 10
Faith 10
Demon Bane 5
Divine Protection 3
Cure 1
Grand Cross 10
Holy Cross 6
Peco Peco Riding 1
Cavalier Mastery 3

This is the order you get the jobs in:

Lv 10 Faith>>Lv1 Cure>>Lv 5 Demon Bane>>lv3 Divine Protection>>lv 10 Heal

Then Holy Cross lv 6>> GrandCross lv 10>> Peco Peco Riding lv 1>> Calvary Mastery lv 3

This is how you place your stat points from a swordsman:

Str to 30
Vit to 30
Dex to 20
Str to 50
Vit to 40
Int to 99
Vit to 63
Str to 53

The Str, Vit,Dex comes first so your life as a swordsman will be easy, and you will be able to take adavntage og having a good vit/str/dex base to work with when you gain holy cross. You will finish in maxing your int by lv 80 or higher. The reason I would adviseyou go heal first cause it makes it so you can more effectivly level, and Gc at low levels kills until you get higher int (for magic defense) and some equips to protect you from gc damage (Halo, Poo Poo, Cranial Shield)

Int/Vit/Dex

Str:1+7
Agi:9+2
Vit:53+7
Int:99+6
Dex:69+3
Luk:1+5

Easy to level with Gc. Can take our monster very effectivly dealing high amounts of damage as fast as possible. Has a very high hit rate due to the large dex total. This is the more advise GrandCross Heal build, but their is one huge disadvantage about this build. The Lack of Str. This build is very slow until you job change and you can level high enough to get grandcross. If you have someone to tank you for your first lv 40 jobs levels then this will be not a problem for you. But if you are going to go this route I STRONGLY reccommend using Spell Sword ie: Fireblend (which allows you to cast a lv 3 firebolt on a target.) with these types of weapons it will make your leveling much easier. In PvM,PvP,Woe this build is very good in all of them once you have a high dex/int count.

Pros:

-High Damage
-Rate of damage is very good
-Very effective in Woe,Pvp, and PvM
-Can solo very easily
-Will make you alot of money

Cons:

-Time consuming to level until you reach Grandcross
-In 9 out of 10 situations you will die from Gullotine Fist
-Expensive to get all of the equipment needed
-Useless in Melee combat, and or when Sp is low their sis not much you can do.

Equips:

Slotted Helm with Elder Willow card +4
Fin Helm
Iron Cain
Slotted Chain Mail+4 with Peco Peco Card/Marc& Pest cards (For Woe & Pvp)
2 Slotted Gloves with Zerom cards
Slotted Muffler+4 with Raydric Card
Slotted Boots+4 With Sohee Card/Matyr/Eggyra (Pretty Much your choice here)
Slotted Mirror Shield+4 Thara Frog Card
Double Slotted Haedonggum With 2 Andre Cards/Zipper Bear Cards

Total Stat Bonus with equipment:

Str: 8
Agi: 11
Vit: 60
Int: 110
Dex: 80
Luk: 6

This is the order you get the jobs in:

Lv 10 Faith>>Lv1 Cure>>Lv 5 Demon Bane>>lv3 Divine Protection>>lv 10 Heal

Then Holy Cross lv 6>> GrandCross lv 10>> Peco Peco Riding lv 1>> Calvary Mastery lv 3

This is how you will raise your stats :

Get int to 99
Get vit to 40
Get Dex to 40
Get vit to 50
Get dex to 50
Get Vit to 63
Get dex to 69

I will post the reason why you should increase the stat points the way you do.

-Very good at tanking monsters, and or Mvp's

Cons:
-Slow gc casting time 2secs , with bless 1.7 secs

Gc

Before Gc:

Orc Dungeon lv 2 :

http://img421.imageshack.us/img421/8739/orcsdun026su.gif

You can Level here from job lv 1 all the way to job level 45 Which will grant you a lv 10 heal
, and a lv 10 Grandcross. *You can go GrandCross first which I did, but I reccommend utilizing hp regen gear such as Muka Belts and ghould cards to regen your Hp fast. Or you can level with a priest/Alco*

After Gc :

Orc Dungeon lv 2:
*Best place for soloing, unless you want to make some money from Chivalry2*

http://img421.imageshack.us/img421/8739/orcsdun026su.gif

Chivalry 2:

*Drops will make you extremly rich!*(Exp is not to great bu you can definatly efficently level if you level at a steady pace.*

Items:

Raydric/KhalitzBerg/Abyss Cards
Elum
Brigan
Slotted Chain mails
Bone Helms:
Slotted Mirrior Shield

http://img434.imageshack.us/img434/4480/glknt021nq.gif

Nifhelim:

*Major Primary source for excellent exp as sson as you get gc lv 10, and some good defense, will get you to lvl 99 in no time.*

Side 1 Is usually a very busy side, full of players moving back and forth engaging monsters.
Side 2 is very neglected and in my experince spawns at a very high rate when compared to side 2.

It is best to work each side for about 15-20 mins before alternating side of the map.(Unless that side is extremly overcrowded.)

I hope this helped on where you should be leveling with your Grand Cross Crusader.
I know their is not alot of places you can see, but I left out other places, because these are predominatly where Crusaders usually goto level up.

Yes this is very true. However if a Gc/Heal Crusader went against a Shield Crusader due to he fact that the Gc/Heal Crusader can heal, that build would win. Shield Crusader Are more useful in supporting the party. Gc/Heal Crusaders are backup healers/ and or damage dealers. Shield Saders aare far more scarier and harded to tack down that a Gc/Heal Crusader, but the Gc/Heal crusader will make you alot of money, and level substantially faster. The main reason people go Gc/Heal as a Crusader is to aquire level 99 faster, and when they trandscend to Paladin they usally go the Shield/Sacrafice/Pressure/Matyr/Domini combo in whihc they go int/vit/ dex if they want to be more support. Or if they they want to be more aggresive they go with the Ago/Vit/Dex Matyr Reckogning combo.

But basically each has their advantages and disadvantages. Gc Crusaders can Kill easily, Shield can protect themselves and others easily.

yay~ Gc sader are nore powerful in MVP (one of the thoughest guys) They can kill any agi type char in one blow and level ups faster too...but the draw back on being a GC sader is that the more u GC the more weaker you get..thats why u need to aquire Heal...ive been playing with 3 saders now....a GC,a FS and a Agi type FS. FS sader rocks in the PVP.GC rocks on MVP and AGC too.

My worst enemy is a Rouge..i bet u too.

isnt 97 vit kinda excessive? i wana get more dex and less vit like 73+7 vit and the rest dex, mainly because i wana pvm more then i wana pvp/woe (they look like fun and seem to get lots of parties cause they can tank/kill). Or is the vit better in pvm then dex? Just wanted dex for faster cast lol (mvp osiris ftw?) of course i guess some more vit would be nice for dopple (mass screen stun, even stuns high vit people wtf!?).

PvM is better to go with the vit. Higher the hp count the more hp the mvp has to go through before he can take you out.

The High Vit/Int gc build is for the people who want to be able to withstand alot of damage. While still being able to Survive alot of things trhown at him. This build is an excellent if you wanan go Sacrafice/Gc

You will prob want the High Int/High dex combination it cannont with stand as much punishment as the max vit/int combination. But it is very good at dealing damage very lethal and very fast. But if you wanted to get the vit to 73 that would be fine but you would be sacraficing either Dex/Int.

Pvp/Woe the only flaw in a Gc/Heal Crusader is that they can be killed from a Lex/Sd or an Asura in one hit. 18k wortht he hp is very hard to go through very few things cna kill you very fast.

In pvp and Woe Crusaders were meant to be the pre cast breakers/Sacrafice party protector. We really were'nt designed to deal high damage specificly. Grandcross in woe takes a 40% damage cut in Woe. Most of the times my job is to lead everybody into the castle and for me to break the precast as we go in. On defending we are mean't to stand at the entrance and gc and or prevent anyone from just running in. Grand cross is a very good skill don't get me wrong but its designed really for you to take out low vit chars in Pvp and Woe situations.

If you are going to pvp/woe alot I highly reccomend going Gc/Shield, Gc/Sac, and negate the heal. You may lose the ability to solo alot of places, but Gc combined with shields can be more effective than having heal. lv 10 reflect shield + 2/3 armor loss while your gc hits reallly hurts taking the damage back. Level 5 defending aura makes you take next to no damage from hutners, and Cross Sins. A lv 5 boomerang can get those pesky classes that attempt to run away from you. Iv'e just seem to notice especially now with trans characters You just dont see that many Gc/Heal Crusaders anymore.

Hello Negeki,

This is such a wonderful guide for making a GC/Heal Crusader just 2 questions i have.

1. If i want to go for GC/Shield Crusader is there any change in the stats which you gave for the GC/Heal Crusader ?

2. If i want to go for a Full Shield what should be stats and which skills should i focus on.

Please if you can answer these question as i am on the verge of making a Crusader and just needs to decide whether to go for GC/Shield or Full Shield.

Thanks in advance.
