Yep. Once your hunter reaches 99 and you've done the whole rebirth process you star out as a high novice lvl 1 with a 100 stat points to spend and you have more hp and sp. Then you go to a plain archer and keep the commodo skills quest that you've completed e.g. arrow crafting, charged attack. Then once you reach at least job 40 archer, you become a sniper.
