To get a falcon you have to get Falcon Mastery once you hit hunter. But first you need level 3 (or is it 5?) beastmastery for the Falcon Mastery skill to show up, when you do that, go back to the hunter's guild in that forest east of payon and talk to one of the npc's (think it's the top guy)

You don't need Strength OR Vit unless you intend on ruining your character, a final build i've always aimed for was 99agi, 88 dex, 20 luk. OR, 99agi, 80dex, 40 luk (think that's right... been a super long time, double check on stat counters). Though an extra +20 luck sounds nice for a falcon hunter, but keep in mind, ever since comodo, the real damage is coming from your bow, not your bird. 8 dex not only adds attack power, but also attack speed, so you'd be getting a solid +1 aspd rather than a % chance for bird to go off, in a mob, this isn't helpful at all since the bird's damage will be so lame that it won't matter or not. This is why i must stress 99agility, with it and the proper gear (YES on iRO), 180-181 aspd IS possible without a priest and on your own buffs, and 1-2aspd can change the world. Or if you'd like to see shear power, i'd also recommend a 99agi, 99dex, 8int build (woot int, bird won't even work at 8 luk lol)

If you want to have your bird auto-blitz, then you will have to incorporate INT and LUK into your build. This generally means that you won't have max DEX.
