Anyways I dunno what would happen if someone expressed love to me whom I didn't have similar feelings for... I guess I'd probably ask myself how in or out of character it is for that person. Secondly, am I interested in knowing in what I know now... And third, did I ever share any feelings for this person before this happened.

I guess the final question is asking yourself, go for it, or looking at the future of the relationship. I don't think it needs to be painted like a portrait. The way you picture a relationship working out is often not how it is.

Everyone's different, I guess you have to look at the kind of commitment you'd be creating by saying, I love you too. I want to tell my g/f I love her, I just don't want to freak her out either. I guess I'm too sensable of a guy. Need to worry less about thought and more about decisive action... valentines are just along the way. I might get her a dozen roses... that might convey something.

if not I can't really answer... since I know the feeling of rejection hurts.... and with falsly answering: "I love you, too" it may still hurt one way or another...
