That and naturally imma whine about the avatar sizes , it might take less bandwidth with a smaller size for them, but why not make it a kb limit on top of dimensional limit, i'd say like 80x80 at a max of 12kb would be just about perfect

And the sole reason to their size isn't not only keeping bandwidth and hd space down, but anything over 75x75 is excessive anyways. I know it doesn't allow for as much detail as you'd like, but that's what siggies are for. I'm going to implement an option in the future - just like rohq4 where you can hide signatures as part of the site settings. Then everyone can be happy.
