Alright. I'm going to admit this book was very confusing at first. But after a while, with a lot of critical thinking of what I had just read (this was basically after each chapter I would do critical thinking) and I came to conclusions about what I had read.
If a teacher ever assigns this book to you and wants an essay written, boy you best be planning to spend a lot of time on it. Because honestly, reading the book took approximately 9 hours (this is including my critical thinking), and then writing a 1200 word-minimum paper on it took about 10 hours. (Including lots of messing around. ¬.¬)
This book is very difficult to follow, including several different stories all weaved together through the character ability to time travel. It's interesting, but nothing you want to have to write about. Just a warning I suppose... just work diligently on it and don't read the book all at once, just read it and then contemplate on what you just read after each chapter.
