ok, so I'm going to turn my assassin into a crit sin, and I was wondering; what are some good weapons for a crit sin? whats the one I should be saving up for? what other equips should I be using? and heck, what's the ideal build?
If you're going for a critical build, no doubt your best friend is of course using a jur. Just by equipping a jur you double your crit %.
As for equipmenets, you would want str/luk gear. Triple Critical [Soldier Skeleton Card] Jur... sometimes they put 1 sidewinder card in there for a double attack on occassion.
That's a little to get you started. It's beena while since I've played RO I can't remember much more

Food for thought:
- The three most important things are: love, knowledge, and truth.
- To be remembered is to live forever.
- It's all about perspective, try to be grateful about life.
- Love happens by accident
Gaming:
DMS3 Modchipped PS2Slimline FTW, the Wii is cool too

There is no real ideal build, just a build that everyone uses over and over again. My suggestion would be...
Str: High
Agi: Med to High
Vit: Low
Int: Low
Dex: 22 + 8
Luk: Med
Str for damage, Agi and Dex for attackspeed, Agi for dodging, Luk for crit rates. No need to go loco on Luk since you'll have a high crit rates with your weapon anyway.
Equipment depends on your preference. Like fuse said, Str/Luk gear is for you. While Soldier Skeleton Cards are good, other damage-factor cards (i.e. Hydra Cards and Assaulter Cards) are also viable. Jur is the best slotted katar-class weapon there is. On the other hand, Infiltrators and elemental katars are becoming popular these days.
Don't bother much about the thief set cards. They give good stats but some other builds are simply better (plus they're a pain to get and complete).

ok, sweet. my agi is already pretty high, but I need to up my str still, since its about in the medium range, and I'll need more luk too. :3 sounds like a plan.
When making a Crit sin, you need to decide if you are going for a natural crit or equip-based. Natural Crit Sins basically have their LUK very high. With LUK at 99, your crit will be 33, but using Katars, it will double, hence becoming 66. Add a few Crit accessories and you should get close to 80% crit. Basically, Natural Crit Sins will be attacking with crits almost all the time. The issue with this is since they are gonna have such a high LUK, the other stats will suffer, thus making leveling a bit tasking.
Equip-based sins is what Kinju has listed. Having a good stat distribution will make leveling very easy. The biggest issue with this build is it will get very expensive. You need very good weapons with very good cards to be able to function effectively. If you do end up getting all the necessary equip, this build is better than Natural Crits simply by nature of survivability.
iRO Chaos Characters:
IdyotAko - 99/67 Lord Knight.............................Aima Lichu - 75/45 Sage
Aeag Sedah - 73/39 High Wizard................................Aima Taikdat - 81/50 Gank Rogue
Vendi Productus - 95/44 Forge Blacksmith.............Aima Bardu - 57/26 MS Bard
I_R_teh_1337!!! - 90/46 FS Priest.......................Aima Whupyah - 61/46 Battle Acolyte (Monk)
mAnUnUmPiT - 73/45 Hunter..............................Aima Alchy - 99/50 Battle Alchemist

hhhmmmmmmm...... in that case, I'll probably be going with natural crit sin until I get a good set of gear, then I'll probably switch.
