we've been together for quite a long time now, and experienced a lot of up and downs...but still, come to think of it...the website is still alive and most of us are still together
That's what I like about this website, we're here for it no matter what. I know that some of us might have some thoughts of leaving...but hey, we still come back 
even if it's a few visit...I don;t know...once a month? but still....we VISIT ^_~
So yah...how about a banner making contest then that will show what our website really is, a community that is together through thick and thin (whatda) and the best banner will be used in the website for...I don't know...let's say...a year or 5 months perhaps ^_~ It will be open for all ragnarok members (if the staff wants to join then it's ok as well I guess)
Rules: (of course...rules should be implemented as well
)
1.) the theme should be ragnarok of course...it could be characters from screenshots, or from a ragnarok artwork (but please ask permission first from the people who made it and give them credits) or you could draw your own, color it, use photomanips etc....just be creative ^_~
2.)there should be a slogan or something...you decide ^_~ (hmmm, something that will trully describe our community)
3.) NO HENTAI PLEASE!!! DEFINITELY NO HENTAI!! /gg we're a wholesome website you know! /gg
4.) Don't use any words/thing that might degrade the website (for Christ's sake) This is a wonderful website...let's be proud of it...it's like our home already, it will reflect who we are ok?
5.) Size should be (soon to be announced...I need to ask FUse first for the techie stuff or any gallery mod...or any admin for that matter)
6.) of course...the words "Ragnarok Online Head Quarters" or "RagnarokHq" should be there
Deadline of entries is on August 5, 2007,please send them to dycee29@ragnarokhq.com (why e-mail...because if you post it here, then it's like selling your ideas to other people who would want to join as well...don't worry, I won't show your work to anyone, and I'm not joining either ^_~) Judging of entries would be poll based (yep...voting)
any comments, suggestion, violent reactions,post it here or e-mail it to me (or PM me)
I hope that I could get everyone's cooperation hmm...this is not yet final since I still need to ask Fuse and the others about this so yeah, this is not yet official

but what if the one who wins is part of the staff? ~_~ hmm...anyway...we're doing this for fun so i guess it will be okay and it's for our community so I guess the prize will just be an added bonus for the winner (just the added icing on the cake ^_~) so yah...but I do hope that you'll approve that the winner will have his banner used in the website, will that be ok fuse? let's say...about 5 months? or a year (so that we could hold the contest every year?) Dyne just make a wallpaper and post it lol. Its not like we use wallpapers for the site unless you're designing the background but the black background is fine now.

A suggestion:
Instead of a poll, have the remaining non-participating staff members choose the winning entry/entries. We don't even have the poll feature yet and posting your choice might (note: MIGHT) result in situations like "OMG U DIDN'T VOTE 4 ME!!111 I H8 U!!!!11111111".
Like have them email to you their top 2 or 3 choices from the list and then you tally then announce the top 1 or 2 and have their banner/s displayed for about... 2 months each or so.
