And the sad part about it is what you mentioned... our folks are stuck in the middle. The good part is, there seems to be a definitive timeline on when the US is going to give up control to the Iraqi military this year. Of course, that info is unknown, but we can only hope for the best when that happens... although this doesn't necessarily mean we leave Iraq altogether... more like we'll be taking a backseat of sorts and let them handle their crap for once.

Hope everything works out for the best...

I can only hope that this will be over soon. But then I wonder what happens when we leave Iraq, do we go back to helping the Canadians in Afghanistan that are battling the Taliban? Did the U.S. completely forget about them or what?
