Went to go see it last night with my girl friend. Suprisely well done modernized version of the film.

Only thing I remember from reading the book in elementary school is: Lion = good, Witch = bad, and a few subtle details. I guess what made it good is none of it was done cheaply. Nothing looks too terribly out of place. Naturally this includes the CG that's been done. I think this is in large part due to Disney.

I was suprised how the theme of medieval never changes. I mean the movie reminded me a lot of Warcraft 3/WoW. Just watch it and it feels like what a reality would be like created by the Warcraft franchise. I know Narnia came first, but I think they even took a lot of their ideas from medieval stuff before... blah. Anyways it was cool, especially the part where an archer shoots a flaming arrow into the air and a bird resembling a phoenix swoops around and get's caught on fire and scorches the battle field with its flames...

Lol... how is that a spoiler? 1st off everyone saw it coming 20 minutes before it happened. 2nd, it's no great mystery who these people/things are, they're discussed much earlier on in the movie their role/intentions before you even come close to seeing them.
