anyone know what can play *.avi file? windows media player can't so I need one that will be able to play it

uh i play wid windows media... i just use some sort of codec filter that's all... sorry can't tell the website a friend just lended a cd wid the installer in it

Media Player Classic is what I usually use to play all my videos.
also if you dont know how to play an extension, google it, usually you get a good site on the first page with codecs to play it on all form of players.

btw guys just a little help. my media player wont play a .DAT file, supposed to be that a video file right?

You just need to download a couple of codecs and WMP should be able to play it no problem.
