I don't understand the hype. They have a pretty good DB, but I'd say ours is going to be better than theirs when it's fully completed. And we even have a huge gallery to look at.

I guess my biggest problem is we were around first. Due to the many shortcomings (the site closing numerous times, and reopening, and the downtime between hosts. If you calculate these factors in, if none of that would have happened, we'd be number one.

Our google rank isn't doing so hot, and when I read about the skill simulator I hear people bashing it because it's not a visual flow chart. What are you too dumb to use it? It's pretty damn simple. Wanna find the reqs to one skill? Clear the form and select the desired skill, add it - TADA! Wow... that was really hard!

I shouldn't start with the what ifs, because you cannot change the past, you can the future. All I'm saying is I have a desire for the site to be a gateway community, as it was in the past. We've been number one a few times, I'd like the honor of being there once again.

The game is filled with know it alls, and that friendly less serious attitude has left the game. It's no longer playful with all the gossip surrounded WoE etc. I look at the 1st version of RagnarokHQ's forums, and I look at other forums or even our forums. It's like we can't have the fun we used to be able to, because everyone seems a little uptight about everything.

Only resource people need is the skillsim, and gallery (if they're at school to blow some time). Maybe the database, but why get involved? People just need a quick fix, they don't stick around for the discussions.

It's not sad per se, I guess things always change, it's part of life. Change is good because it reminds of those good times we remember.
