RO-Market does only show the prices of what is being sold in RO and averages it out. It's definitely no trade/auction or whatnot. Indeed Fuse is trying to incorporate the current market prices into the item DB, but that in itself is a looooooong process.

There will be an Auction house type of thing that will be implemented in RO in a future patch as well (kRO already has it).

Yeah... if Fuse gets this thing up and running, it should drag a lot of folks in here.

Although, I'm a bit worried on how much work this will be since it will be for all 3 iRO main servers, iRO Sakray and I think some of the other RO servers out there.
