here are some infos about the anime>>> about chobits (DVD) (there's a few pictures here too)

Chobits is about a country boy named Hideki who transferred to the city because he failed his entrance exams at his preferred university (he needs to review then). Well, the city is very hi-tech, he encountered here PERSOCOMS (they are personal computers that looks enitrely human! they can do cool stuff like wash the dishes for you, cook for you, answer your mail, surf the net, etc etc), when he first saw one, he vowed that he must attain one of those BUT...the big problem is...he doesnt have the CASH sooo he thought that it would be impossible for him to have one. But one day, while he was walking, he saw an abandoned persocom on the garbage chute, and he brings this home...so here then starts the roller coaster ride life of Hideki and his new persocom that he named Chii (because it's the first word she said) ^_~ i guess you should watch what happens next ^.^

this anime is really cute!! (well...what do we expect this is one of CLAMP's creation!! ^_~ the same company that brought us X, Card Captor Sakura and Tsubasa Chronicles!) Although I don't advice this to very young children (since there are some parts that are...erm...not suitable i guess for them). This is really one funny and heart warming anime (Chii is so cute ^_~) and there are lessons that you could learn from this too, like how material things could not exchange the role of human beings in this world

Ok wow chobits huh lol it has been quite a while since i last saw this anime. This has got to be one of my first animes i have ever seen. This anime was so heart warming and i found it really easy to get into the characters and understand what they are feeling.

Hmm my favorite character was Hiromu Shinbo, and his persocom Sumomo (Plum) she was so cute with her morning exercises. I also really thought Minoru Kokubunji was so cool. Wish i was as smart and cool as he was at his age heh.Also his persocom Yuzuki was so kind i really like her.

@Runagi: WOW! you have the manga (THAT i don't have *grins*) Gee...i wish i'll have the manga too (they said that there are parts that are different from the manga and from the DVD) The DVDs i have are the ones in japanese (with subtitles in english) which ones do you have? (the one with subtitle or the one in english already?)

@Calicien: hehe...i'll lend you the DVDs after the sem break (asa nueva ecija kasi e....andun kay Rachelle...sayang sana kung matagal mo nang hiniram dala ko siya dati sa dorm!! /sob hindi ko naman alam na gusto mo pala panoorin yun...saka asa animax kasi siya hehe)
