Yeah...I think it would be cool if our life is anime-like but I guess we have to stick with reality...and hey....sometimes are life is anime-like...you know...there are some stuff that we could relate to anime (works for me i have been compared to anime a lot of times at school! haha)

IMO, cosplay is just a role play complete with elaborate costumes. It's a good hobby as long as you don't get absorbed into it (like getting into 10 cosplays in one year...).

I like cosplaying because it kinda puts creativity into a frame or a pedestal...like any other forms of art...like painting, sculpting, coloring, drawing etc etc...yet in cosplaying...well...it's living art (you're part of it...literally ^_~) Also, you meet friends with the same passion during conventions
