Now I know you guys in the Phillipines, being much closer to the Equator, are used to warm weather pretty much year 'round. But up here in Canada we used to have cold weather. Yeah you read right; used to. For a guy like me who absolutely love winter this is a tragedy.

We hardly have any snow now before christmass, and when we do, its all melted after 2-3 days. My birthday is in november and when I was a kid there used to be snow at that time, now, nothing. It's even more depressing when you walk in front of a house where the kids made a snowman; there's no snow left on the property, it's all in that one lousy snowman! WTF!?

I'm sure you're having all sort of crazy f***ed-up weather in the Phillipines too (floods, heat waves…). Not trying to sound pessimist here, but it's only gonna get worse, and fast! Scientists say that we are experiencing the worst case scenario (remember those scenarios they made about 12 years ago?); climate changes that they hoped would take 50 years to occur are going to occur in the span of 10-15 years instead. And you know what the worst part is? We're supposed to be entering a new Ice Age! the climate is supposed to be getting colder, not hotter dammit!

Well, looks like we're all going to hell in a handbasket. Hope you brought your swimming suit, you're gonna need it!

Global Warming has been an issue for a while long time now and there hasn't been much effort put into lessening the harmful effects. Hopefully our next president we elect in the USA will try to put some effort into finding ways to slow or even stop the effect.
