So I don't know if you've heard about this on the news or on the net, but a Canadian artist wants to create a 300' long giant banana to be place in geostationary orbit above Texas.
WTF!? Is that art? Is that supposed to be some sort of statement?
And the worse part is that the Canadian government is providing funding (somethink like 600 000$) for this. Those crazy Canucks!
So, what are your thougths on the matter? And before anyone asks; no, I do not think that putting giant vegetables in orbit around the Earth is a good plan for world domination…

? It's the second time that one of my post dissapeared, I don't know what the hell is going on here…Like I said, no helium is not flammable, I think you got mixed up with hydrogen… like they used in the blimps and zepelins. And Izzy, a geostationary orbit means that the object rotates with the planet, so it is technically orbiting, but stays above a fixed location.
