ever wonder why you wake up in the morning and find your goldfish playing dead? well, try to imagine yourself as the goldfish and you wake up everyday in the same fishbowl and you have nothing to do but swim around and make bubbles, wait for your owner to feed you, then you swim around again, and do the same routine over and over again for the rest of your life span as a fish. it's no wonder why pet fish die in a couple of weeks. 
that's why buy a bigger aquarium with a lot of palnts, sunlight, and other fishes....

You also forget that goldfishes are dumb. They have like a long term memory of about 30 seconds. So they're not smart to actually get bored.

I had a pet fish before. His (or her) name is Wee Wee da Pishie.
He (or she) died after I got him (or her) from teh petshop 2weeks before death day.
It was a fighting fish.

hmm i had a lot of fishes since i was small...
coz at my house in Indonesia, we have a pond built in...
so it's nice.... and it's not too big either.. about... it's about 1m by 3 m....
so it's not that big, but it's fn and put a filter and fountain.....
so the only fish that die is the newcomers, coz they have to yet adjust, which sometime is too late... and for the oldies, they are as strong as a rhino... i used to catch them, and throw them in again and again... ehehehe
but having a pond... ugh.. the cleaning job is NOT fun... scraping and scraping the stupid moss off... then wash..... rinse.... and then suck it dry, for a few days, and then fill it again... and you can fall down too... it's slippery... hah... i missed my good old days...

lol. i can't even remember my first fish 'cuz i got so many of them i lost count. but i know that the last type of fish i got was an arowana(sry i dont know teh spelling). it died aftr 2 weeks.

i feed my fish 3 times a day...
remember to treat them as human!!!
and then put filter on
and then clean the tank every month
and change the water too
put the fish and some of the old water in smaller container
clean the tank let it alone for a night to refresh the smells
fill it up
but if you change the water using tap water, dont put the fish in...
let the water and the tank alone( with filter on) for 1-days
it's so that the level of the chlorine is not as much...
then put your fish in with the old water
that's what i usually do.... nne of them die... except the newbies
