Hey guys, I figured I'd post some information on the BlizzCon that is going to be held August 3 & 4th this year. All the tickets sold out in under 48 hours. I was really anticipating going but I had to ask permission and look at my work schedule to see if I could take some vacation, but before I could, all the tickets sold out!
Oh well. My bet for the reason the tickets sold so quick is the first bold topic below.
StarCraft II Playable at BlizzCon 2007
Visitors to BlizzCon 2007 will be treated to the first-ever public hands-on with StarCraft II. Demo stations will be set up at the convention, and attendees can sample the new units and gameplay elements for themselves in multiplayer battles. We’re excited to offer this exclusive opportunity to our players, and look forward to seeing you at BlizzCon.
Arena 2v2 CGS World Championship
We're pleased to announce that World of Warcraft will be one of the featured games in this year’s Championship Gaming Series (CGS) World Championship. World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade players on the European and North American realms have the opportunity to secure a spot in the upcoming CGS draft, to be held at BlizzCon. Players who are drafted onto CGS teams will earn $30,000 - $100,000 or more annually in salaries and bonuses as professional gamers.
